God’s existence for and against ?

Posted in News on July 23rd, 2007

Hi loyal listeners,

Now that the Darwin or Design project is out of the way I am thinking of writing a short work on arguments for an against the existence of a god. Should be a nice short term project to keep me occupied for a while.

Anyway, I’m looking for any listener suggestions for arguments for or against God’s existence.

Ideally I would like arguments that you think are strong and most likely to convince you to change your mind from one side to the other. Or else the argument you find most compelling for which ever side of the divide you sit on.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Either post in the forum thread I set up here (although if you are not registered you will need too) or just email me

Jason

Darwin or Design Release

Posted in News on July 16th, 2007

Hi listeners,

My new audiobook Darwin or Design has been released. WooHoo! Which means I will be able to get back to doing more stuff on the Sci Phi Show. Thanks for the patience in my partial absence.

A new regular show is coming and if all goes according to plan it will be out tonight or tomorrow evening if something does not go according to plan. And hopefully I should have 2 or 3 interviews for you for later this week and into next week.

The upcoming episode is on the Michael Bay film The Island if anybody is interested in knowing in advance :D

Change of forum policy

Posted in News on July 8th, 2007

Hi all,

I have been getting driven up the wall by spammers posting crap to the forums, including sadly pornographic images. Anyway, to spare myself and the forum admins PrincessEve and MattArnold from having to put up with this crap, the forum registration policy has been changed to require administrator approval before you can post to the forums. I am sorry that this is necessary.

I’ll attempt to keep on top of them though, as I suspect the number of genuine registration requests will be pretty low. You can always email me, [email protected] if I am slack about confirming your registration.

The current new process is to send a confirmation email that you need to respond to and then i’ll approve the registration request.
